Fresh, direct, thoughtful.
Reminded me of a conversation (row)? with a friend who was saying, no shouting, that "we're all the same" and need to forget differences, as we're all oppressed!
Some are more oppressed than others, there are oppressors and oppressed,we well know how easy it is to condone, be ignorant, whilst others actively partake, so of course difference matters, humanity unifies us but the ways in which peoples are oppressed is through difference and so naturally people stand up for their identity their group as it's this that is under attack,it's just sad and bad when that in itself becomes reactionary, the good times are when these disparate groups come together and recognize their collective need of one another whilst celebrating difference.
