Irish people must get sick of visitors leaving  their country  delivering the platitude  “ the Irish are lovely people”, but I must say the Irish are lovely people.  I read at Cork Library  then eat at  an Italian  restaurant with the writers. Particularly memorable was Portugese cult writer Rui Zink – very funny man.  I find it very difficult to sit still after reading on stage  even if it is an half empty room in a library.
