It’s how it goes on the gritty streets of Urban East London….The beech trees that surround Millfield Park got a thrashing last night. I mean a real thrashing. There they were stood around the park, minding there own business being respionsible community trees and soon as it goes dark. Bish bash bosh biff thwack! No sooner does summer coax out those big waxy five fingered leaves than one nights thrashing of wind and rain tears them to pieces and throws them all over our street! I’m telling you, if you are a tree reading this, don’t go out at night.
