I read tonight at Durham Literature Festival. It's an interesting gig. I am less than an hour from Scotland and could run for it right now. It's part of Durham Literature Festival's multicultural programme and part sponsored by The Pakistan Cultural Association. Wajid is on stage with me, a poet himself. It's a really enjoyable reading. I get a kick out of the audience and hope they get a kick out of me. Earlier on I ask Wajid if he chose me as part of The Pakistan Cultural Association's programme. “No” came the reply. But wholely supportive the event ended with Wajid asking questions of me and directing questions from the audience. Fortunately I have changed the hotel room and so shall sleep soundly
