The past three weeks I have been on stage at The Hammersmith Lyric with my show. This means I haven't been unable to attend other events like the one tonight. It is the 200th Anniversary of Darwin. Tonight The Natural History Museum has an event to celebrate the occassion and launch the entire thing.
Last week my film What If was shown on Channel Four tpo celebrate the occassion. I wrote a poem and put it to music with a couple of fine musicians. It was also shown tonight at The Natural Museum to the great and the good. I received texts of congratulations from unusual quarters tonight as I travelled home from The Hammersmith Lyric.
At home there are a series of emails of people wanting to view the short film. You can find it here. Unfortunately it is embedded so I can't lift it. But for now you can see it here http://originals.dvdance.eu/LS.html
Hi,
I have just been to the RA and saw your piece there.
As a student in BA fine arts I was looking for some work with videos for inspiration. Your work really seduced me by this simplicity, and the space left for your words. So many questions erased from your poem. Very ambitious questions. But if he was wrong, should we go back to our bible or there is another way
