There’s nothing like a morning cycle  from Clapton Pond through Bethnal Green for Eggs Benedict and cappuccino in the sunshine of the roof terrace at Shoreditch House.  Executive producer Nikki parent of Tigerlilly films is my partner in rhyme and we discuss projects for  recent commissions from Channel Four TV.

Off it is then to Paddington station and to  Bedwin where I am driven through the Wiltshire countryside to Marlborough College.  Founded in 1843, and situated in one of the most attractive market towns in the country, Marlborough College is a  fully coeducational, independent boarding school.   Tonight is the launch of Marlborough Literature Festival.
