And then at night  another restaurant  Habesha 2,000 where I ate as guest of  Afewerk Tekle the greatest living ethiopian painter. Mulatu Astatke father of ethio-jazz  and Ayelneh Mulatu the great poet and playwright. All of this with and because of my friend Abebe. And all made possible by The Biritish Council who have brought me here to Addis. I’m in heaven. My many worlds in one day. The artistic world, the Ethiopian world, the British world, the World world…
