I live in Clapton Pond. The actual pond has a fountain at its centre. Like the fountain my local Deli is at the heart of Clapton Pond. Outside the Deli is the coffee joint,  for all us coffee fiends. The coffee station is mainly run by Khan. He also makes the most incredible Indian tea with ginger cardamon etc,  but that’s just for him.  Ask him about it.

The shop known as Palm 2 or Abdullah’s or The Deli is owned by Abdullah and run by his family, friends and employees. It’s as  close to a New York Deli as you’ll find.  Abdullah listens to his customers. He is beating Tesco’s hands down. This morning I decided I would make the coffee then realised that I didn’t know how!!  Khan took the picture.
