So very very powerful Lemn..and a sad indictment of the state..what a state it’s in! I sensed without even being present in the audience nor seeing any facial expressions, they were uncomfortable….I have alot of respect for you, what you say and your experiences. I hope you are truly happy in your life and with your family. The state as “parents” to children in care really let children down….I have known this as a Social Worker (I come from the heart, often unlike most!)…I don’t like “the system” because the system often lets children down and makes too many (preventable) mistakes. YOU TRULY ARE A SURVIVOR.
