I needed  this  night with my people in Melville Johannesburg. By my people I mean friends and artists,  politicised, articulate, charachterful, without ego, non judgemental, fiercely opinionated, kind of heart, strong of spirit, wise,  tear inducingly hilarious,  unapologetic. They are forensic.  They are angry enough to know that anger will kill us. They are peaceful enough to know when to take up arms. I mean MY PEOPLE!  That’s what I’m talking about. My freakin’ PEOPLE.
