I have a brand new piece of work commissioned by Denys Baptiste for his critically acclaimed  “Now Is The Time…Let Freedom Ring” tour. The photo below was  taken last month at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre  last month on the London leg of the tour. The Poem is called “Civilize You” and inspired by a Martin Luther King speech.

We filmed “Civilize You”  in two takes at Franklynlane  studios.   Something happened that day.  The poem met the eye of the film maker Kwame Lestrade. He felt it, Denys felt it. Kwame  mixed the video into this art.  Funded by Arts Council England fueled by love.
