Ladies and gentlemen  at 10am this morning  I  bought an iphone.  It looks good.
It feels good. None of this determines that it is good. But you know what? It
is good too! Hold on a minute I’ve just got a call. It’s my future. And it’s here!!   Ahem. ‘scuse me…

At noon I meet Lorna Simpson whom I began working with last year. Lorna is a producer at The Southbank Centre.  At 2pm Elizabeth Alker brings me two things:  The Final Gil Scott Heron Documentary Pieces of a Man and the unedited interview with Gil.   I sit and listen to the documentary in the office and it feels emotional to say the least.

At 3.15pm I meet Jessicca Scott from St Martins College in the Royal Festival Hall Cafe. Next week we shall be filming a poem for The Slow Movement launch. It’s a fast fast poem and we’ll shoot it at Liverpool St Station in the fast fast rush hour. Got to go, the pone’s ringing.
